The Original Craft Beer Tour is the best choice to explore the real Hanoi with the best craft beer around Vietnam. You’ll learn the history of beer, the difference between commercial and craft beers, how beer is made, the difference between beer types and how to taste beer (good beer should be tasted, not drank).
The purpose of our tour is to provide you with a unique opportunity to experience and learn about the exciting craft beer scene here in Hanoi, tasting amazing craft beers and a bit of beer history of Vietnam.
In this tour, We take you out of the Old Quarter to bring you to the far-off places for you to get the chance to taste and learn about these new beers to Hanoi. At each stop, our friendly guide will provide participants with a sample flight of beers designed to show off all of the brewers’ hard work. You will get the opportunity to visit some very unique craft breweries.

Start Your Tour
Our beer tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We start our beer adventure with a chat about the local beer scene in HANOI and trek to our way to the first stop which is Overmorrow Brewery. This brewery is the newest brewery here in Hanoi. At Overmorrow, we will go do a production tour of the facility including the basics to make beer and the different types of beer that it creates.
This is a great way to see parts of the city that most tourists don’t get to see or even hear about. Whether you’re a craft beer newcomer or a craft beer expert, you’re sure to enjoy a tour of local microbreweries, lively beer conversations, and the opportunity to sample the work of our local brewmasters. Even though iam a die hard fan of Single Malt, during my first trip to Hanoi my friend had suggested this team to explore the different micro and tap breweries. Brian MacDonald had took us different provinces and explained us culture, history and Beers connections with the Hanoi. This was our favorite guided tour in Hanoi! Our guide, Julian, took us to 4 different craft breweries in Hanoi, where we were able to sample 3 varieties of beer, and have a food pairing, at each location. He shared a lot of background about the beer industry in Vietnam and was very knowledgeable. We loved the tour, loved the beer, loved the food, and Julian was awesome!
